Go get granny brand package
Go Get Granny is a podcast that features a grandmother and her grandchildren who dispel old wives’ tales. This branding package was done for a class where I needed to create various assets,such as a cover art, palette, typography, waveform, and several other graphics.
Sketches
Based on the content of the podcast, my concept for this design was traditional, handmade, and nostalgic. My first sketch contained a ball of yarn, while my second featured a quilt to reference handmade crafts from grandmothers that are passed down for generations.
After receiving some feedback, I decided to create the first concept as it was cleaner and less busy.
First Draft
At the request of the hosts, the brand needed to feature pink in the color palette. In my first draft, the pink that I chose was hard to read and needed to be changed .
Final Package
With an updated color palette, my graphics were easier to read and fit my graphics better. My final package met my goal of giving a handmade, nostalgic feel while kipping it clean and professional.
